Canadian Fintech Summit 2022: A Great Opportunity to Learn and Connect

The Canadian Fintech Summit offered me an opportunity to learn from numerous experts, start-up founders, and banking executives thanks to its varied and in-depth conferences and discussion panels. It provided me with many insights into the opportunities fintechs and financial institutions can seize together in this new digital transformation landscape.

Our CEO and co-founder Mike Lee was also invited to participate in the CFS’s annual pitch competition on the event’s main stage. Although Fundica was not among this year’s winners, it was clear that our solution was well received by the judges and the audience, and that we had captured the interest of several people who came up to Mike afterwards to inquire about our technology.

In addition to the conferences and panels, I very much appreciated the social aspect of the event: we had many networking breaks in the lounge where we had the chance to meet and engage with other attendees. An evening cocktail hour at the end of each day of the conference offered even more opportunities for informal meetings and interesting discussions in a pleasant environment.

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at the Canadian Fintech Summit. I had unique opportunities to connect with both people who were interested in Fundica, but also people with completely different and fascinating projects and visions for fintech and the future of banking.
